Cons

  • Only 1x USB 3.0 Port

If you want a good value-for-money PC case that offers great ventilation to support high-end gaming PCs, then you should go with the Corsair 4000D Airflow. Because of its performance, we also used it in our Best $2000 Gaming PC Build, be sure to go through the remaining components as well.

As the name suggests, the Corsair 4000D Airflow is known for its unrestricted airflow, thanks to its perforated front and top panels, which use a triangular design. Apart from the holes, the front panel also has large gaps on its sides to allow more ventilation. Both the front and the top panels can be equipped with magnetic dust filters, which can be easily removed for maintenance.

Along with the chassis, you get 2x 120mm AirGuide fans. However, that’s not it, as the total fan capacity of the 4000D is 6x 120mm (3x front, 2x top, 1x rear) fans or 4x 140mm (2x front, 2x rear) fans. If you plan to use an AIO, then you will be happy to know that you can equip a 360mm radiator at the front and a 280mm radiator at the top.

Moving on, some people might be disappointed by the front I/O selection as you only get an Audio jack, a USB Type-C, and a USB 3.0 port, along with a reset and a power button.

Other features of the Corsair 4000D Airflow include 2x 3.5″ trays and 2x 2.5″ trays, velcro straps, and great room for cable management at the back. Focusing on the exterior, the design of the Corsair 4000D Airflow is quite impressive. You get a minimalistic black body, with each panel blending into the other seamlessly. Being a Corsair product, there are no build quality issues.

Apart from the tempered glass on both ends, basically, every other exterior surface is designed to improve airflow. Type: Mid-tower | Colors: Black | Motherboard Support: Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX | Dimensions: 400 x 200 x 455 mm | GPU Clearance: 355mm | CPU Cooler Clearance: 165mm | Drive Bays: 2x SSDs (1x Optional) and 2x HDDs | Included Fans: 1x 120mm Phanteks Black Case fan

Pros

  • Very Affordable
  • Good Cooling Capabilities

Cons

  • Only 1x Dedicated SSD

So far, we have talked about quite some high-end cases. However, not everyone can afford these high-end cases, and for them, we recommend the Phanteks Eclipse P300A Mesh Edition. Don’t let the P300A’s affordable price tag make you think that the case is inferior; that’s because it packs enough features to be worth every penny.

First off, the entire front panel uses a beautiful mesh design that paves the way for uncompromised airflow. Furthermore, the top also has a metal mesh. To utilize this design, the chassis can be paired with 4x 120mm (1x top, 1x rear, 2x front) or 3x 140mm (1x top, 2x front) fans. It should be noted that you get a 120mm Phanteks Black Case fan pre-installed. Using an AIO? you can use a 120mm radiator at the back, and the front panel can be paired with either a 280mm or 240mm radiator as well.

Focusing on the storage, you get 2x HDD/SSD trays along with a dedicated SSD bracket at the back. At the front I/O, there are 2x USB 3.0 ports, a power button, and a microphone and headset jack. Another good thing about the Phanteks Eclipse P300A is that it has a compact design, meaning that it can fit in small rooms better than most mid-tower cases. Despite that, the interior is quite spacious; you get 355mm of GPU clearance and 165mm of CPU cooler clearance, which is adequate.

As far as the aesthetics are concerned, the P300A looks absolutely gorgeous. It comes in a Satin Black finish, which, when combined with the front mesh grill along with the clear side tempered glass, gives the chassis a really beautiful look.

The best thing about the Phanteks Eclipse P300A is its price. The chassis is really budget friendly without offering inferior cooling.

What We Disliked

For the price, it’s hard to complain about the P300A. However, it is really disappointing to see that there is only one dedicated SSD bracket.

Who Is It For?

If you’re building a budget gaming PC and are looking for a good bang-for-the-buck chassis, then the Phanteks Eclipse P300A is for you.

What Makes It The Best Budget PC Case?

Given its pricing, the Eclipse P300A still managed to provide lots of cooling support, including a 280mm radiator and decent airflow. Not only that, but by no means will you think of it as a cheap chassis because of its build quality or looks. Therefore, this is why we have picked the Phanteks Eclipse P300A as the Best Budget PC Case.

Pros

  • Beautiful white design with front and side glass panel
  • 10x fans, 4x radiators, and 13x SSDs support
  • Easy to manage cables
  • RGB

Cons

  • Very expensive

Next up on the list is the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO, and if you are a fan of white PC builds, then you are going to love this chassis. In our How To Build A White Gaming PC guide, we used the Dynamic XL variant. The chassis gave us no installation hurdles, and the end result was gorgeous.

We will come back to the design of the Dynamic EVO later. First, let’s discuss its cooling capacity. The O11 Dynamic EVO comes with a plethora of fan support; you can pair the chassis with 10x 120mm (1x rear, 3x side, 3x top, 3x bottom) or 6x 140mm (2x side, 2x top, 2x bottom fans) fans. While we are the fan support, it should be discussed that out of the box, the O11 Dynamic features a glass front panel. However, it comes with an optional front mesh kit as well.

If you equip the front mesh kit, then you can use an additional 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans. Even with just the front glass panel, the fan support is more than adequate, and let’s face it, the glass front panel looks miles better. Moving over to the radiators, the case can support up to 3x 360mm radiators (1x top, 1x side, 1x bottom) and 1x 120mm rear radiator. Therefore, you have plenty of room to squeeze in your AIO cooling.

Keeping up with the impressive theme, the O11 Dynamic EVO blows it out of the water with its storage support as well. The case can support up to 13x SSDs or 3x SSDs with 6x HDDs. It should be noted here that out of the box, you get mounting pads for only 9 sets of SSDs. Nevertheless, even then, the storage capacity is more than enough.

Given such impressive support for fans, radiators, and storage drives, it comes as no surprise that GPU, PSU, and CPU Cooler clearance is no issue at all. Apart from these integral features, the O11 Dyanamic EVO has a bunch of additional features as well. For instance, the front I/O supports 2x USB 3.0, 1x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, and 1x Audio Jack combo, and it can be placed in 3 different locations. Not only that, but you can utilize the optional I/O ports accessory and get a total of 4x USB 3.0 and 2x USB 3.02 Gen2 Type-C ports.

That’s not all; you can even use the optional top I/O kit, and your front I/O will move to the top of the chassis. Apart from this, there are other additional features as well, like support for dual PSUs, a cable management bar along with velcro straps, and many other cable management features. The O11 Dynamic Evo also comes with an ARGB Lighting Strip on the front aluminum panel. Coming back to the design, the white variant features an all-white body and a clean look, with every panel flushing into each other.

What We Liked

With so much to love about the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO, the chassis’s minimalistic white body is what struck a chord in our hearts.

What We Disliked

The O11 Dynamic EVO is nowhere near affordable. With such steep pricing, white PC build enthusiasts on a budget will have to look at other options.

Who Is It For?

If you’re building a white-themed high-end gaming PC and can afford an expensive case, then the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO is for you.

What Makes It The Best White PC Case?

Apart from beautiful looks, the extreme cooling capabilities comprising 10x fans and 4x radiators, along with a whopping 13x SSD support and a plethora of other additional useful features, are what make the O11 Dynamic EVO the Best White PC Case.

  • Looks beautiful

Cons

Many compact PC cases suffer from poor airflow. However, that’s not the case with the O11 Air Mini, as it uses a beautiful mesh design on the top, front, and side panels. As for the fan support, the chassis can hold 10x 120mm (2x front, 2x side, 3x top, 2x bottom, 1x rear) and 6x 140mm (2x front, 2x top, 2x bottom) fans. A good thing here is that the O11 Air Mini has the 1x 120mm PWM rear fan and 2x 140mm PWM front fans pre-installed.

Furthermore, you can use 3x 240 radiators (front, side, bottom), a 280mm front radiator, and a rear 120mm radiator. This configuration is for the 7-slot mode of the chassis to support the ATX motherboard. If you use the 5-slot mode, which only supports MicroATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, the radiator support increases.

As for storage, the O11 Air Mini has space for up to 6x SSDs or 2x SSDs with 4x HDDs, which is impressive for a compact PC case. Similarly, the front I/O selection isn’t disappointing either, as you get 1x USB 3.1 Type-C port, 2x USB 3.0 ports, and an Audio jack. Despite the compact form factor, Lian Li has creatively utilized the interior to make it as spacious as possible, that’s because the O11 Air Mini can support a regular-size ATX PSU and a GPU, and a CPU cooler of length and height of 362mm and 170mm, respectively.

Overall, the O11 Air Mini follows the dual-chamber design philosophy of the gorgeous O11 Dynamic Evo. You get a beautiful mesh front panel along with an aluminum panel. Furthermore, you can utilize the velcro straps, rubber grommets, and multiple tie points to make the final build look neat and clean.

What We Liked

The best thing about the Lian Li O11 Air Mini is its spacious interior. The chassis can equip many fans and radiators even though it has a compact form factor.

What We Disliked

Even though the cooling support is plenty, it would be really good to have a top radiator in the 7-slot configuration as well.

Who Is It For?

The Lian Li O11 Air Mini is for those who have limited space and want a compact PC case without compromising on performance.

What Makes It The Best Compact ATX PC Case?

The fact that the Lian Li O11 Air Mini can support 10x fans and 4x radiators while still leaving plenty of room for storage is what makes it the Best Compact ATX PC Case. Furthermore, it also stands out from the competition because of its affordable pricing.

These fans have a rated speed of 1200RPM, making them quite good.

Along with the fan support, the radiator support is equally mind-blowing, the top and front panels can support all the way from 120mm to whopping 420mm radiators, and the bottom and rear panels can hold 240mm and 140mm radiators, respectively. Apart from just normal air cooling, the Cosmos C700M is a beast when it comes to liquid cooling as well.

Moving towards the storage, the C700M is the first chassis in our list to feature support for a 5.25″ drive, along with 5x SSDs and 5x HDDs or 10x SSDs. To accommodate as many components as possible according to user preference, the C700M supports four different layouts: customizable layout, inverse layout, chimney layout, and traditional layout. As for the front I/O, you get 4x USB 3.0 ports, 1x USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C port, and separate audio and mic jacks

Focusing on the design, the Cosmos C700M looks like a spaceship from a different galaxy. It features two addressable RGB strips running up and down the front panel. First off, the case supports 10x 120mm (3x front, 1x rear, 3x top, 3x side) or 4x 140mm (2x front, 2x top) fans. The sheer number of 120mm fans is insane, which is perfect for an RGB case. Not only that but the entire top and front panel is made of mesh, giving the chassis uncompromised airflow. To live up to its name, Corsair has pre-installed 3x LL120 RGB fans that can spin from 600 to 1500RPM.

We have reviewed the Corsair LL20 RGB fans in detail, be sure to check it out for more information.

Just like the fan, the radiator support is also quite good. You can use 3x 360mm radiators (top, side, front) or 2x 280mm radiators (top, front) along with a 120mm rear radiator. With such outstanding figures, it becomes clear that the iCUE 5000T RGB is not just a showcase chassis; it is also quite impressive in performance. The storage capacity is no different either, as you can use 3x SSDs and 2x HDDs/SSDs, and as for the front I/O, you get 4x USB 3.0 ports, a USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C port, and separate microphone and headphone jacks.

Cooler Master NR200

Cooler Master NR200 - Best Mini-ITX PC Case
Cooler Master NR200

Type: Mini-tower | Colors: White, Black | Motherboard Support: Mini-ITX, Mini DTX | Dimensions: 376 x 185 x 292 mm | GPU Clearance: 330mm | CPU Cooler Clearance: 155mm | Drive Bays: 3x SSDs and 2x HDDs | Included Fans: 1x 120mm and 1x 92mm fans

Pros

  • Spacious interior
  • 2x Radiator and 7x fan support

Cons

  • No Type-C port at the front I/O

Looking for a small but spacious PC case to perfectly fit your Mini-ITX build? If that’s the case, then going with the Cooler Master NR200 is your best bet. There are many Mini-ITX PC cases out in the market, but none of them offer the perfect balance of performance, space, customization, and looks, as well as the NR200.

Also Read: Best PC Case Under $50

Let’s talk about the performance first; the chassis has fan mounts for 6x 120mm (2x top, 2x bottom, 2x side) and 1x 92mm rear fans. The 2x side fan mounts can be paired with 140mm fans as well. Furthermore, the rear 92mm and the 1x 120mm top Sickleflow fans are preinstalled with an RPM range of 650-2300RPM and 650-1800RPM, respectively. For such a small form factor case, the fan support is quite good.

Likewise, the side panel can hold a 240/280mm radiator, and the bottom panel can hold a 120/240mm radiator. Despite the Mini-ITX form factor, the Cooler Master NR200 has dedicated locations for 2x liquid cooling pumps, which is truly impressive. Regarding storage and front I/O connectivity, the support is adequate with 3x SSDs, 2x HDDs, 2x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, and a headset jack. Although, the inclusion of a Type-C port would be better.

Cooler Master did not waste a single inch with the NR200 to the point where the chassis can support a 3-slot GPU as well. On the topic of GPU, you might be concerned with the clearance (or lack thereof) with the NR200. Well, you can rest assured as the case has a 155mm CPU cooler, 130mm PSU, and 330mm of GPU clearance. It should be noted here that while you can do the vertical GPU mount, we wouldn’t recommend it as you will not only lose support for the side radiator, but the CPU Cooler clearance will also reduce to 76mm.

As for the design, the chassis has lots of ventilation to facilitate unrestricted airflow, and consequently, there are dust filters at the top, bottom, and side panels. Look-wise, the Cooler Master NR200 is one of the simplest-looking cases to ever exist. You can get it in two colors, black and white, and both of them have the same minimalistic feel with no bells and whistles.

What We Liked

Cooler Master NR200
Cooler Master NR200

The way Cooler Master has utilized the interior to give as much cooling potential as possible is what impressed us the most.

What We Disliked

It is a bit disappointing to see no Type-C port at the front I/O.

Who Is It For?

The Cooler Master NR200 is perfect for those who are looking for a Mini-ITX case that offers enough airflow and cooling support to go along with a high-end rig.

What Makes It The Best Mini-ITX PC Case?

In such a small form factor, the Cooler Master NR200 supports 2x radiators (240mm, 280mm), 7x fans, and adequate storage while also being priced competitively. All of these features make it the Best Mini-ITX PC case.

How We Test PC Cases

Our white gaming PC build
Our white gaming PC build

Whether we are reviewing motherboards, CPU coolers, RAM, GPUs, or peripherals, we follow a set of criteria to ensure that every product we select is indeed the best in its category. Therefore, the same goes for testing PC cases as well.

In this section, we will walk you through the important factors we considered when testing various PC Cases for this guide.

Budget

First of all, we tested PC cases with their pricing in mind. For every case we select, regardless of the category, the chassis must offer good value for money. This doesn’t mean that we didn’t consider expensive cases because the best high-end case costs north of $500; it simply means that every case we call the best must be worth its price. For instance, the best high-end chassis offers enough features to make up for its price tag.

Airflow And Ventilation

We also tested every PC case based on its performance, and by performance, we mean its ability to direct airflow with proper ventilation. This can be done via various mesh or vents all over the body.

Build Quality and Visual Aesthetics

When it comes to PC cases, build quality and looks play an important role. Hence we scrutinized them based on the materials (like aluminum and steel) used to build their panels. Furthermore, we also paid attention to the visual aspect of the chassis, like the color profile and RGB (or lack thereof).

Form Factor and Compatibility

With PC cases, it is important to evaluate their compatibility with different motherboards, GPUs, CPU coolers, and PSUs. Therefore, with their form factor in mind, we tested the clearance and compatibility of all the PC cases we picked.

Why You Should Trust Tech4Gamers

To ensure we provide accurate recommendations, we thoroughly tested every PC case we reviewed. However, that’s not all Tech4Gamers has to offer; from troubleshooting guides to technology news, we also cover a wide spectrum of content to help our readers troubleshoot common problems and stay informed.

Thanks to our team’s dedication and hard work, we’ve earned the trust of leading hardware manufacturers such as ASUS, ASRock, Aerocool, Cooler Master, be Quiet!, Fractal, Corsair, DeepCool, and many more. These brands rely on us to provide expert insights and reviews of their latest products.
