Launched in Q1’22, the Intel Core i9-12900KS is the most powerful processor of the Alder Lake-S desktop lineup. The processor offers a specification similar to the Core i9-12900K. Intel has increased the clock speed of the cores, which should translate into improved performance. Unfortunately, the increase in clocks also translated into increased power consumption.
